3. Language Assessment
You will complete the assessment with one of our French teachers. We will receive a full report with your recommended course level.
4. Placement & Confirmation
You will be placed in the correct group. You will receive all class information and the digital learning materials required.

French Latitude 1: French A1.2 Beginner Course Overview
Chapter 5: On se voit quand? (When Do We Meet?)
Learn how to suggest, accept, or decline invitations, indicate dates, schedule appointments, and ask for and give the time.
Chapter 6: Bonne idée! (Good Idea!)
Express positive and negative opinions, inquire about prices and quantities, and talk about amounts effectively.
Chapter 7: C’est où? (Where is it?)
Master giving and asking for directions, and locating places using phrases like “near,” “opposite,” and more.
Chapter 8: N’oubliez pas! (Don’t Forget!)
Learn to express obligations or prohibitions, and give helpful advice in various situations.
What to Expect
- Final Exam: At the end of the course, you will take a written and verbal exam. A score of 70% is required to progress to the next level.

Terms and Conditions
- Your French A1.2 Beginner Course fee includes one digital copy of the learning materials. If you’d prefer a hard copy, you can purchase one from our recommended supplier at an extra cost.
- Public group classes are designed for 30 academic hours per CEFR level. If the group grows to 5-7 students, we’ll extend the program by 10 academic hours. If only two students enroll before the course starts, the group will shift to a semi-private format with 20 academic hours.
- Want to switch to a different group or schedule? No problem! Just let us know at least 7 days before the course starts.
- All our teachers are native speakers of the target language. If your teacher falls ill or has an emergency, we’ll arrange a substitute who’s fully briefed on your progress.
- Once you’ve started with your group, switching to another group or schedule isn’t possible.
- Please note that French A1.2 Beginner Course fees are non-refundable once the group classes have begun.
- We can record group lessons for later viewing, but only if everyone in the class agrees before the course starts.
- At the end of every program, you’ll take a final exam (both written and verbal). To move up to the next CEFR level, you’ll need to score at least 70%.
- After completing your final exam, you’ll receive a progress report, recommendations, and a French A1.2 Beginner Course certification for your hard work!
